COFFEE SHOP
Romy Blohm’s rich heritage and cultural roots are showcased through Belgian inspired design within the space. This is implemented through the use of a predominantly beige and blush neutral color palette, as well as mixed wood and textural features as accents. This design is accompanied by a menu featuring coffee and baked goods derived from Belgian, French, Dutch, and German cultures to give customers a taste of Blohm’s background. The coffee shop will house space for conviviality and gathering as well as isolated space for tranquility and singularity. This is achieved through specialized seating areas with varying furniture setups and privacy levels to welcome any and all users.
RESIDENCE
The Belgian influence continues in the residential space through the continued use of natural colors and mixed textured finishes. The upstairs space will have an encompassing feeling of warmth, inspired by the feeling of love fostered within a home environment. This is created in design with a multi-sided fireplace at the center of the common living areas as well as orange/ blush tinted natural colors to add warmth to the palette. Spaces for family time and entertainment form the core of the home with a wing for individual space for relaxing time alone, such as Romy’ requested master spa-like bathroom.
