PROFILE

As an emerging interior designer, my design philosophy is to design spaces that put the user first and accommodate all. The design world is constantly growing and changing - I strive to constantly learn new skills to best grow my place in the industry.

    • Governor General's Silver Academic Medal - 2025

      • The Governor General's Silver Academic Medal is awarded for academic excellence to the undergraduate who achieves the highest academic standing in a Bachelor degree program at their respective academic institution. ​

    • Creative Vision Award - 2025

      • The Creative Vision Award recipient is selected by the Algonquin College Bachelor of Interior Design Faculty, and recognizes the student who has demonstrated great skill and avant-garde design, taking a new approach to complex design problems. Exemplifies tremendous skill and commitment to their work. This student identifies a unique design concept and effectively demonstrates it visually in their final work.​

    • Dean’s Honours List: September 2021 - April 2025

      • The Dean's Honours List recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.60.​

    • MillerKnoll Modern Design Award - 2024

      • Awarded to a third (3rd) year student in the Bachelor of Interior Design (Honours) program who recognizes the importance of timeless design for the good of humankind.​

    • Interior Designers of Nova Scotia Student Scholarship - 2023

      • ​Through this scholarship fund, IDNS provides funding to a Nova Scotian student entering or studying in a Canadian CIDA-accredited Interior Design program following a successful application for the award.
    • Burns Connor Scholarship - 2023

      • The Burns Connor Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of the Bachelor of Interior Design program with the highest GPA.​​​​

    • Burns Connor Bursary - 2022

      • This bursary is awarded to a student in the BID program based off of financial need and highest GPA entering the second, third, or fourth year of study.

INTERIOR DESIGN INTERN

Parallel 45 Design Ltd. - Ottawa, ON

Student Intern Role: Spring/ Summer 2024 Co-op extended through 4th year studies (May 2024 - April 2025)

Full-time Intern Role: May 2025 - Present.​

  • Utilizes technical proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Enscape to support creative design development and visualization

  • Interprets and executes design tasks and directives from senior team members with accuracy and efficiency

  • Applies working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, construction detailing, and material/finish selection

  • Assists in the production of both presentation and construction documents to support project development and communication

GRAPHIC DESIGN OFFICER

United Way of Pictou County - New Glasgow, NS

  • Created marketing and infographic materials for both digital media and print media using Canva and Adobe Photoshop

  • Redesigned the organization’s website using Umbraco

  • Created a cohesive brand and visual communication style

  • Understood given tasks and worked to fulfill requests in a timely manner 

  • Completed daily clerical and communications tasks, such as Excelwork, outreach to businesses, and email responses
